Making Waves on Broadway 2013
Eleven hours of nonstop music opened at the Making Waves on Broadway street festival at Haywards Heath on Sunday 25th August, 2013
Pictured is solo singer Luci Songi one of the opening acts, whose opening number was the Maroon Five song All I Need.
The first act on stage was high quality string ensemble Ensemble Reza, who gave a sparkling performance. They were followed by Central Sussex College Band who played a solid tight set with strong vocals from from Elisa Thomson. Members of the band have just finished their BTEC music studies.
Eleven hugely entertaining hours later Mainly Madness tribute band wrapped up a good day for music of all kinds in which bands and soloists gave the crowds a huge range of music from jazz to rock and pop.
The Alter Eagles tribute band ran Mainly Madness close as one of the best received bands of the day.
Other acts that took part were The Courtelles, Half House Hotel, The Dixie Strollers, Tom Staniford, Bryony Brooks, VoicesLive, Cylvian and the Revo 6, The Hot Rox Band, White Light, The Project and U2 Tribe.
